December was the most important month for Grand Theft Auto Online. This is stated in a Rockstar ad, which also confirms that 2017 was the game's biggest game so far.
The editors of GTA V, Take-Two, recently announced that all their future games will have microtransactions.
The Rockstar announcement begins: "We want to greet the people of Los Santos and Blaine County for another year of civil war" after the many updates that the game made last year of the smugglers' race in the recent Heist Doomsday.
He continues: "2017 was the biggest year of GTA Online, crowned by an epic December that saw more players in the game than ever." For the record year, this is a four-year game that constantly breaks records, and it's not a surprise because it was voted the best-selling video game of all time in the United States last year.
In another part of the announcement, Rockstar will allude to the new game modes that will appear in the coming weeks, as well as a new vehicle to show.
